Alright let's skip the introduction /
Get right into to the discussion /
What happened to jams that kept adrenaline rushing /
Were so knocking had to left a concussion /
Talent that wasn't used for nothing /

Music you can build on constructing /
Not just turn on and jump in /
The kind to have DJ's struggling /
Juggling between nods and just straight cutting /
Block to block garners so much buzzing /
Becomes too hot for stations to be touching /
Speaking of blocks /
The usual gose on enough to rot /
Distribution of what no one got /
To evoke buried feelings bring em up to the top /

In a form that pops after the needle drops /
But most wanna pass up that thought /
The award over shadows the risk of being caught /
Rewards now a days go to improper spots /
The artistry gets mistaken for what's to flop /
It's like if you got it but missing the cred /
They deem you unconscious left up for dead /

Many ponder how plenty of lives get misled /
Deceitful their environment fools them instead /
Over the edge is right where the're led /
Explanations come from impoverish areas /
Places with loss of guidance causing hysterias /
None from parent relative or visitor /
Leaves them emptier to be filled with things sinister /
Support for youth gets dimmer /
While support for weaponry use get clearer /
Speaking of things being loaded /
How is it silly stunts in the biz blasts more noises /
This and that one clashing voices /
Gets serious outside of hip hop's importance /
Don't the music suppose to not stop and quit /
Not be about inconsiderate choices /
Even back in the day if you took notice /
When groups had one mic to a performance /
Though they sung formed lyrics /
It didn't get to the point of breaking more than someone's spirits /
The music needs to be kept where you can hear it /
Set down on wax where you can spin it /
Yeah it has a profounding influence /
But you can't blame it on how society's in ruins /
That stems from piety excuses /
Low income pricey institutions /
Heads are tricked by illusions /
Too thick to understanding refusing /
Discern from what reality's doing /
And the entertainment's thats amusing /
A vile system that stops reproducing /
Those to repeat the immorals the're doing /
Make em believe theirs no solution /
Seeing is believing so that's more confusion /
Relying on faith is an exclusion /
Atheism substitutes in contribution /
These are some reason many were losing /
Property you once owned now your losing /
Oh and uh what's with tracks were getting /
It's as if Hip Hop's entrapped with a stubborn vision /
I'm saying it's straight to talk about what your cash be getting /
Divulge your property like there's nothing else existing /
But besides what you got can't you use lyricism /
And if not topics with a lot less materialism /
Now that my proclamation's been announced /
I'm sure there's places I didn't take in account /
There's a host of others that can spew that out /
I'm just an emcee blessed with these views to announce /
............ that's what's really real without a doubt /
